At first I made literal connections —
When I walk along the surf… watching the waves rise, crest, and crash upon the shore… listening to their mighty roar… marveling at their endless, steady power… I know my Lord is mightier.
When I stand beneath the waters cascading down the face of a canyon wall… roaring, churning into the pool of water at its base… I know my Lord is mightier .
Then I made a metaphorical connection —
Waters and sea are used for peoples in Scriptures … And I rejoice that my Lord is mightier than the noise and might of that sea !
